Lallybroch also known as ‘Broch Tuarach’ meaning “north-facing tower” in Gaelic, is a 16th century towerhouse located 10 miles or 30 mins drive from Edinburgh city centre. It lies between South Queensferry and Linlithgow on the edges of the private Hopetoun Estate. Lallybroch is the ancestral home of Jamie Fraser.
