This book is morbid (as the title aptly suggests) and it is filled with talks of mortality and the certainty of death. It tackles mental health topics in a very approachable manner. It gives you a good walk in the shoes of a person who battles with depression, and the stigma society inflicts on them. Covering similar theme to My Year of Rest and Relaxation and Sorrow and Bliss, i felt that this book executes it better, and the way the story is narrated makes the point land better for me personally. I read this and listened to the audiobook, both via @scribd and was happy with both format. This is a quick consumption, and i found myself urged to finish it within one sitting. Good read, though the ending was rather simplistic. I like the fact that it isn’t necessarily a resolution, but rather a way to take things one day at a time, while we all coast through our mortality.
