Miss World Cameroon 2022 launches her Beauty with a Purpose project Miss World Cameroon 2022, Julia Samantha Edima launched her Beauty with a Purpose project, the Julia Samantha Foundation (JUSAFO) on 14th May. The JUSAFO was created with the aim of helping people in disadvantaged and vulnerable situations The Foundation works in collaboration with Psychologists, Heads of Schools and Hospitals to support people with education, mental illness, accessibility to medical care and general aid. On the launch of her humanitarian project, Julia said: “Thank you to all the people who continue to support me from near and far, especially to all those people, who like me, advocate solidarity, living together, altruism and love.” One of the first initiatives of JUSAFO is to increase the amount of blood donors. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a drop in blood donations. JUSAFO aims to mobilize blood donations to be able to respond to all blood transfusion requirements. This can help save lives and prolong the lives of patients suffering from fatal diseases as well as playing a vital role with the care mothers and babies when medical intervention is required. On the 14th June, World Blood Donor Day, Julia and representatives of JUSAFO went to the Laquintinie Hospital to make blood donations. The blood contributions JUSAFO made on this day alone saved 5 lives. Congratulations Julia on the launch of your Foundation and the incredible you are doing.
