Buildings that stood the test of time. 🏚️ The Gwalia State Hotel was established by the government to fight the crafty alcohol trade that was happening in the town at the time. It was also constructed to provide an alternative accommodation option to the hotels in Leonora. The build cost £6,000 and was completed in 1903, with its doors finally closing in 1964. Today, it is privately owned and is closed to the public, but you can still admire its historic beauty from outside! 😍 Have you explored the ghost town of Gwalia?
