i’ve thought long and hard about how i wanted to word this. the most transformative four years of my life have come and gone and i want to express my gratitude for all of it. to the AMC, thank you. words cannot truly describe how i feel about you. i came into the academy without a sense of direction as to where i wanted to take my life. despite facing many hardships and challenges, my love for filmmaking grew to levels i never thought possible. now i am majoring in film and i couldn’t have done it without you. you have really changed my life for the better and i can’t picture myself without the academy. thank you. ❤️🎞️ to the Jag Singers program, thank you. my senior year would not be the same had i not auditioned for reveille and madrigals. the two have really saved my senior year from hitting rock bottom, and i owe a lot of that to the wonderful and unforgettable people in both choirs. my only regret from joining is not doing so years ago. from the late night rehearsals to the tiring performances, i loved every minute of it and i will miss you. ❤️🎶 to my underclass friends, i will miss all of you. you guys are always good for a laugh and y’all were all a highlight of my year. i’m glad to have met each and every one of you. ❤️🫂 to my class of ‘23 peers, we did it! every ounce on blood,sweat, and tears we shed has led to this. i wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors and it’s been an honor to be a part of such an amazing graduating class. ❤️🎓 to Madison Central High School, it’s been a wild ride. i have had many negative experiences within your walls, but also many positive ones. i look back at all of the days i spent within those four walls and i am satisfied with all of my experiences, good and bad. i will never forget you MC. once a jag, always a jag. ❤️🐆 so yeah. that’s a wrap on my high school journey. to old friends and new friends, to east flora, madison middle, and rosa scott, to reveille and madrigals, to HTVP, to ms. carney, mr. cooper, and all of the others teachers i’ve ever had, to A.T.O.M, to jnn, to the late night rev rehearsals, and finally to mc, thank you! i couldn’t have asked for a better year.
