March 20, 2020 8:53 AM *Breakfast Barre and Beats Bust* #pandemicDiary #lockdownlookback #2yearslater I was trying to post these photos exactly 2 years later but I am already “late” for a couple. 😫🤷🏼‍♂️But it’s kind of fitting that this image is the one I’m late for. Looking back it definitely represents expectations I put on myself that were not met. At that time I thought I would wake up everyday and take ballet class in the kitchen with Robert. That only lasted for a week before it got cramped, stressful, and overwhelming. I was very impressed with how Robert was able to self motivate and offer a free class to the public from our kitchen. It helped a lot of people but I think it may have done the opposite for me. The joy of dance from the kitchen everyday became a reminder of how I was constantly failing and not meeting expectations cause I couldn’t get up and join him.
