This past week has been surreal. Shinzo Abe was a divisive but highly influential figure in Japan’s modern politics. Admittedly I’ve felt desensitized by the U.S.’ countless crimes of gun violence, but for such a heinous crime to happen here, to as big a politician as Abe, is horrific. I hope to update as we learn more behind the suspect’s motives but in the meantime, please check out what we have so far.
