It’s difficult to navigate and know what’s real, who am I and who is the character I’ve been taught to play? And who is the character I play simply to escape being myself? Still trying to figure it all out. What I do know is that identity is fluid - it’s not a destination. It is a practice, an experiment, trial and error. And each day you become more yourself if you trust in you and follow your heart. Who you are is not defined by what you do for work, how much money you make, or the size of the gap between your legs. You’re defined by who is in control of the wheel - what you give your power to. Whether that’s you driving you, or something or someone else.
