Ritchie will speak with two members of his creative circle: the groundbreaking MIT research scientist Sarah Schwettmann, and renowned fellow painter Carroll Dunham. Matthew Ritchie in conversation with Sarah Schwettmann @ 2 PM Sarah Schwettmann is a Research Scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (MIT CSAIL) with the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab. Ritchie and Schwettmann have collaborated since 2018 on cross-disciplinary projects that explore a type of machine learning known as generative adversarial networks (GANs). . Matthew Ritchie in conversation with Carroll Dunham @ 3 PM Carroll Dunham is a painter who lives and works in New York and Connecticut. Most recently, Dunham was the subject of a major two-person exhibition at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, “Carroll Dunham / Albert Oehlen Bäume / Trees,” which recently traveled to the Sprengel Museum, Hannover, Germany.
