Halloween is tomorrow but there’s still time to read one of my favorite books to read this time of year! I absolutely love Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie-it’s such a clever mystery! This is a darker story as it is about a murder that takes place at at children’s Halloween party (that part is super sad), and Hercule Poirot is called in by his friend, Ariadne Oliver (who attended the party), to investigate. This is one of Poirot’s later cases, and absolutely shows his brilliant detective work at its best!🎃 . I love Ariadne and Poirot’s interactions together so much! This story is full of the wit and insights into human nature that Agatha Christie always delivers, as well as a captivating mystery and all of the spooky Macbeth vibes that make it a perfect read for this time of year.🎃 . The end is wonderfully layered and brought together in way that I didn’t see coming. I loved every minute of it!🎃 . Also, the audiobook narration by Hugh Fraser is perfect-as always!
