Never too late to say that you’re looking forward to a new year 🌄 2022 came with some real successes and challenges. Whitney won Best of Show at the @acs awards, we got all sorts of new eyes on the strides we have been making in the creamery and the cellars, and we got to finally touch base with mongers and old friends in person. But, man—have there been some challenges, too. With one of our central tenants being to build an agriculture-supported-community, we’ve been feeling the burn of inflationary pressures and trying to figure out how to continue to grow our local economy. On top of that, innovating always carries risks. New cheeses come and go. Some will fail, some will succeed. At the end of the day, we have a few things we can rely upon: hope, change, perseverance, and the people in our lives who march forward at our side. Nothing gets done in our world without those things. So we look forward to 2023 for what it promises to bring: Hills to climb, nuance to observe, people to cherish, revelations to grok.
