Miss World Puerto Rico 2022 Beauty with a Purpose Gala - held in memory of the beloved Delia Cruz The Miss World Puerto Rico 2022 Gala took place on 16th June at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel. The special event was held to celebrate the life and legacy of Delia Cruz, our Miss World License Holder for 25 years and to benefit “Hogar Casa Cun San Juan”, an institution that provides support to children who are in highly vulnerable situations. The gala was hosted by Miss World Puerto Rico 2014, Génesis Dávila Pérez and Miss World Puerto Rico 2021, Aryam Díaz. During the event, the top five Beauty with a Purpose Finalists were announced as Miss Mundo Hatillo, Estefanía Lugo, Miss Mundo Lares, Andrea Rivera, Miss Mudno Utuado, Norgianne Rivera, Miss Mundo Maricao, Jeanelys Morales and Miss Mundo Carolina, Yamirelis Carrasquillo. The subjects of the top five projects included saving the planet through education, lupus disease, development of mental health counselling, self-esteem workshops and sending aid to Ukraine. The Beauty with a Purpose Winner will be announced at the Miss World Puerto Rico 2022 Final to be held on 30th June at the Center for Fine Arts in Caguas. The winner of Miss World Puerto Rico 2022 will represent Puerto Rico at the 71st Miss World Final, where reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor.
