What a night! Still processing the magic that made our first ever gala at PS1 so special! It was very moving to honor Agnes Gund, Djali Brown-Cepeda, Deana Lawson and Rashid Johnson, who have each been transformational in PS1’s recent evolution, and to finally stand on the stage with the inimitable Sarah Arison, who as MoMA PS1’s Chair, has been the most incredible guide and confidant over these last two crazy years. So grateful to all the artists, supporters, and friends who joined for the event and epic after party. A GIANT shout out to Mina, Erica, and the entire dream team at PS1 who made producing the event (and putting PS1 back together afterwards!) look easy. To work with folks who show up with such care, grace and passion is the biggest joy of my job.
