I still remember sitting at the start of this year, praying quietly and boldly at the same time... My prayer was: “God, please give me more opportunities this year to show the world how DOPE fatherhood really is.” Today I stood on the set of Cook Dad Cook at the @cw33dfw studio with little Terry, and I couldn’t help but pause for a second. Not because of the lights. Not because of the cameras. But because I know exactly Who opened this door. This year already feels different and I truly believe this is going to be a BIG year...not just for me, but for my family, and for everyone who continues to love, support, and believe in what we’re building! Because let me be clear...I don’t do this for likes. I don’t do this for comments. I don’t do this for attention or fame! I do this to inspire. To represent. To show fathers everywhere that being present, loving, engaged, and intentional is powerful! Not sure who needed to hear this, but If you’ve been praying for something, keep praying. If you’ve been believing for something, keep believing. God is GOOD and know that he is ALWAYS working behind the scenes!
