Dear Grandpa - you’ll never know how much you truly impacted my life. I will carry your legacy forward everyday and continue making you proud. ❤️❤️⁣ ⁣ If you didn’t know my Grandpa, he was always trying to teach a good lesson. I thought I’d share a few key lessons from him, in the hopes it could impact at least one person. I know he’d like that. ⁣ ⁣ Lesson #1 - Be Responsible. In the classroom, at work, at home, and in the social setting. “If you ever need a ride home, you can call me, no matter the time, price or location” My grandpa instilled very early in my life that is not responsible nor acceptable to drive home after being at a party, with friends, etc. ⁣ ⁣ Lesson #2 - Be Respectful. My Grandpa respected everyone and made sure to lead by example in doing so. He was very vocal and forward about his support for those with disabilities. He wanted to pave a path forward for our cousin Sam who has Autism. He fundraised and had a few different initiatives to support this cause. ⁣ ⁣ Lesson #3 - Be You. When I would talk to my Grandpa, the only thing that he cared about was making sure I was happy and enjoyed what I was doing. He said everything else would figure itself out. Make sure you’re happy. That’s all he ever wanted, was the people around him to be happy and be themselves. ⁣ ⁣ There are so many more lessons and stories. Thank you for everything that you gave and being the most marvelous man I knew. I’ll miss you so much Grandpa ❤️
