Variations (V) on May 16th we presented the first in progress workshopping with the masterful artists @kamaupatton @jamilaraegan @saravanderbeekstudio @alishabwormsley @jasminehearncollaborates with support and vision by co-founders of @soft___network Chelsea Spengemann (@cgspengemann) and Sara Vanderbeek (@saravanderbeekstudio) This work in progress is an re-imagining of Variations (V) a work by the collective of interdisciplinary artists John Cage, Merce Cunningham, Nam June Paik, Stan VanDerBeek. This project has become a platform to ask so many important questions; What does it mean to hold an archive? How do we gather? What is the future if this type of gathering looks like the bodies who are gathering?
