The annual Roller Disco is coming up on October 30th! Some folks have questions about the look / feel / vibe / flow of the event so here is a quick 2021 recap in 🔟 slides to help everyone understand how we get down: 1️⃣ Inspo courtesy of @deborahtroyannchester 😍 The theme is late 70s - early 80s GLAMOUR 🤩 Think Studio 54: divas like Diana Ross, Grace Jones or Bianca Jagger.. fellas think Off The Wall Michael or Rick James and of course overall DISCO 🕺🏽 Being on theme is required for entry 👀 2️⃣ More Inspo courtesy of @miki_michelle 🤩🤩🤩 3️⃣ The Majority of the floor is open to skating from 5pm-830pm. If you rented skates from us you must return them by 9pm. If you brought your own skates you are free to keep skating in an auxiliary area adjacent to the dance floor. 4️⃣ At some point around 830pm or so we open the floodgates and the party people take over the dance floor and it turns into a full on dance party for the next 3-4 hours 5️⃣ then we get into it with your favorite jams 6️⃣ lots of beyonce of course (this year will be NO DIFFERENT 🐝 ) 7️⃣ Proof that u can bust out your fav TikTok choreo in ur most glam Studio 54 look bc why not? 8️⃣ More inspo courtesy of @gosunnygo 🥵 9️⃣ The requisite Afrobeats Dance showcase courtesy of @mr_shawtyme32 🔟 All your fav classics (and more beyonce!) we good? good! so that’s all folks.
