Thank you @tomservaisjr for capturing this moment. Jeffries Bay in the late 90’s during a heat I took off on this wave that had a long stretched out wall. I high lined and when I came off the bottom there was another long stretched out section looming down the line so I tried to fit in one carve. I had to find the balance of keeping every bit of speed I had but still pushing through the turn. I don’t remember the score or even what place I finished in the event but this turn reminds me of how good that wave is. There’s not many waves in the world that moments like this can happen... I miss J Bay. Someday I’ll go back.
