I owe him a sketch of Evergreen, a sketch of a previous OOAK I did in his collection, and a certificate of authenticity. Putting that here so y’all can hold me accountable lol 4. The incredibly decorated gala dinner. Christmas in May!! Sat next to my Mattel Italy colleagues @annalauras & @robysuriano. We worked together through email on the Samantha Cristoforetti Barbie, so nice to meet in person finally! 5. Mario put together a slideshow of my work, of course set to Sugababes’ ‘Push the Button’. Remix provided by Seba, It was giving Lil Jon ‘YEAYUH’ but gay & Italian lol 💜 6. At any Barbie convention, you already know the dancefloor will be dominated by the Spanish Barbie collectors, they love to bailarrrrrrrr jajajaja 7. My #1 fan lol 8. Barbie collectors waiting in line for me to sign their dolls, still surreal to me 9. Two Barbie collectors, @paolarobello & Massimo, made a catalog of basically everything I’ve ever designed. They did this on their own-own, combing the internet for photos, my sketches, release dates, SKU numbers, detailed info. Like wut?!!! It’s like a damn Sotheby’s auction catalog. They gave me a copy 🥹 10. My parents are with me on this Europe trip. So damn grateful to share this experience with them, especially after the last two years. We have our health and our ability, so lets dew the damn thing. Shout out to me as the best Barbie designing bunso ever.
