I am proud to be a Muslim woman, at a time when my faith is misunderstood and vilified. Growing up Muslim in America taught me how to hide my identity and overcompensate for stereotypes I never chose. Yet the beauty of my faith is it never asked for approval or permission. This weekend, I attended the inaugural Muslims in Business conference at Harvard Business School. Being in a room filled with ambitious people who share the same faith was a reminder of who we are when we are allowed to exist without apology. Thank you to HBS for creating this space and taking this initiative ❤️
