Getting the Department of Justice to investigate the NYPD was major for us, but now the next step is supporting survivors as they come forward to tell the DOJ about their horrific experiences with the NYPD. I want survivors to know they aren’t alone. I want them to know there are so many of us behind the scenes who are supporting one another, and ready to welcome them with open arms.
