Back in July, I traveled to New Orleans and worked with @AMEX and @teamepiphany to capture the vibes of AMEX's Essence Festival Activation. It was the first time I used a gimbal and whew it was no joke. Arms got tired pretty quickly but I loved the experience. It's all choreography and anticipation. Where is the crowd going? Do I move with them? Should I pan left to right? Stay still? How do I make this feel like you were there? I really enjoyed the thought process. Anyways, here's a clip of the incredible @robertglasper singing one of my favorite songs. The goal of the shot was to introduce you to the space but still linger with what's in front of you. Enjoy 💕
