CHICKEN & CHIVE STEAMED DUMPLINGS 🥟 Follow @betterthanyomamascookin for recipes & more ✨ Ingredients: for your dumplings - 1 package of wonton wrappers - 1 lb ground chicken - 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives - 1 egg - 2 tbsp @trybachans Japanese bbq sauce - 1 tsp lemongrass paste - 1 tsp ginger paste - 1/4 cup shredded green cabbage - 1 juice from half a lime - 1 tbsp crunchy garlic - Salt and pepper For the crunchy garlic lime soy: - 1 tbsp crunchy garlic - 1 juice from a lime - 1/4 cup soy sauce - Sesame seeds - Fresh chives In a mixing bowl, add ground chicken, egg, chives, ginger, lemongrass, Bachan’s, cabbage, crunchy garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper for the dumplings. Mixwell to combine. Fill a small bowl with water and set aside. Take a wonton wrapper and fill a tsp worth of meat into the middle. Wet your finger in the water and wet all sides. Take one corner and touch to the opposite. Press the sides together to form a triangle. Take the bottoms corners and pull them towards eachother to touch. Repeat with the rest until you’re done with your chicken mixture. Place a damp cloth over then until ready to steam. Boil a large pot of water and place your bamboo steamer on top. While waiting for water to boil, make your crunchy garlic lime soy. In a bowl, add your soy, lime, crunchy garlic, sesame seeds and chives. Mix and set in fridge until ready to serve. Place your dumplings in your bamboo steamer and steam in bunches for 10 mins each. Enjoy!
