The Porsche 911 of the 993 generation had an air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 3.6 litres. The output of this engine was 272 PS and was raised to 286 PS in the 1996 model year. This was achieved – among other things – by means of an intake with a variable cross-section (Vario-Ram). It was also possible to order Carrera models with power increased to 286 PS or 300 PS from the factory. #Porsche #PorscheMuseum #Porsche993 #Engineering
