Just taken a Bellami Masterclass and want to work on your Hand-Tied weft installation? Here are my top tips for a seamless & secure installation: TIP ONE ☝️ Take smaller rectangle sections in width, and use a smaller bead, 3.5mm works really well for guests with fine hair. I find this prevents the beads from popping out during wear and gives more support TIP TWO ✌️ You should never cut a HTW weft because of the way it’s been constructed. If you cut the thread, the hair will start to shed, so we ALWAYS recommended to fold. There are a few ways of doing this but I like to flip up my front 5 beads and fold around so I have a weft sitting on the top and bottom, so the beads are concealed. Works really well if the guest likes to wear their hair up. TIP THREE 🤟 Place the weft under your front beads and leave enough extra to be able to fold and cover the beads. I like to do a combo and have the wefts sit on top of the beads round the back as I find my move up appointments are a lot quicker than if I was to do a full hidden row TIP FOUR 🖖 When you have folded your weft around the front 5 beads, take you pliers and pinch the corner so it lays super flat to the head. Learnt this little trick from the sensational @sarahpagehair! A real game changer TIP FIVE 🖐 Clips clips and more clips! Absolutely essential to keeping the weft where you want it! TIP SIX 🤚👆 Wherever you have an overlapping weft, working under the wefts only (not through any pockets of hair), do a lock stitch to secure them together and then continue on with your blanket stitch. Any questions pop them below or send me a DM! Hope this helps ❤️ @bellamihairpro @bellami_uk @thehairajuku @katpee_12 #bellamihairpro #educatorcontentjuly2022 #designerhairenhancements
