‘In moments of doubt repeat the mantra I am enough’ One of the factors that drew me into the @lululemon world is their ability to assemble dope people together but I’d be lying if at times I didn’t feel slightly out of my depth, filled with imposter syndrome and questioning my purpose within the group I jokingly call The Avengers. I’m just a Dj from London with a passion for sharing running with unlikely people but I’m no Olympian and my marathon time is nothing to write home about when you are hanging with people who literally set the track on fire and have gold medals and world records in their lockers. Yesterday we did some self development exercises and I shared my vulnerabilities about my position within the ambassador eco system and how anxious it can make me feel in the lead up to trips. In my relationship with previous brands vulnerabilities have been seen as weaknesses so I was slightly reluctant to share my truths only to find that everyone has been feeling exactly the same. I share this because I know that many people question their worth but I came away from the session feeling lighter and reassured that an army needs all types of soldiers to win in battle. In conclusion it pays to talk your truth, to step into your light and be honest with the company you keep. We all have a role to play in this world and are definitely stronger together .
