This year, 2024, commemorates the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of John K. Becker & Company. As you can see comparing these two photos taken 25 years apart, our workshop, the Frank Lloyd Wright studio, has remained very stable through the years! John decided to create his own company specializing in violin family instrument restoration in the summer of 1994. Keisuke Hori first joined him followed by Takeshi Nogawa. This trio of master craftsmen has been intact our entire tenure which is a very unique feat in the field of violin repair and restoration and the firm is also joined by John’s two sons John J. and Garrett Becker. In the past decade we have grown beyond the original workshop to also include a showroom, violin making workshop, and photo studio. Join us as we continue to celebrate this milestone throughout the year by sharing photos and stories from our archives.
