Throttle Thursday - Painting a new body! On today's #ThrottleThursday we are going to walk you through the process of painting a custom body. Body prep is super important as the bodies typically come from the factory with a mold release agent on the inside of the lexan. This is to help allow the body to come off of the mold easily. This mold release will make your paint bubble, run, and just plain not stick. Take the time to clean and dry the body thoroughly before painting. Believe it or not but, even in rc, the body shape, weight, and mounting position will have impact on performance; choose wisely.
