I just returned from a new adventure: Crossing Europe with the #ConnectingEurope express train. The Connecting Europe Express is an initiative from the @europeancommission to create awareness for train travel in Europe. After all, this year is the #EUYearofRail. Train travel is fast, comfortable and sustainable. . What I found very convenient was that the train almost always arrived in the middle of the city. It was very to explore cities right away and just hop on the train to go to the next city. Train travel is the best way to explore all of the different cities in Europe. . I started from Lisbon Portugal finished in Bratislava Slovakia. I visited more than 10 cities in just 9 days. Before hopping on the Connecting Europe Express I had some time to explore Lisbon. The cute trams in the city caught my eye and I decided to get up early and photograph them with basically no cars in the streets and beautiful soft light. After that we departed from the Estação do Oriente station, which had some really interesting architecture.
