Filipino- American rapper and Influencer Saweetie and I giving each other some love. “Mahal Kita” is “I love you” in Filipino, as she speaks some Tagalog. I was rushing to meet someone at UCLA’s Pavilion Club so I didn’t have time to stop and chat as she and I did after a Laker game last time, so I just called out to Saweetie and ran off. My Chloe sent this to her friend who loves Saweetie and she was geeking out. I’ve done many video shoutouts for my daughter and the Saweetie one where she says “Mahal Kita Chloe, IKDR” is her favorite. Can you believe that? This includes shoutout videos from the NBA logo himself, Jerry West, greeting her Happy Birthday and a long shoutout video from Steve Nash, one of her favorites, on the eve of his own Hall of Fame enshrinement when he and I sat next to each other at the HOF reunion dinner 4 years ago. 🤷🏻‍♀️
