The day this video was recorded (mid August) was the day I officially isolated myself. I wasn’t doing too great emotionally, mentally, physically, and even financially if I’m being honest. I’m not trying to cover it up by any means. I was pushing myself to fight through it. It didn’t go too well because I left the function earlier than usual. In todays blog post “She’s intentional.” I get real vulnerable about what was taking place. I let you in to my inner thoughts and emotions. The isolation was motivated by me because I wanted to retreat, but God had other plans. It was needed to set me up for intentional repositioning, correction, conviction, truth, and counsel. Nothing and I mean nothing can top the love God wrapped me with last month. I wouldn’t be here and better without it. “He has a way of using what should have consumed us to cause us to grow.” Am I in a much better space, yes. Is my healing and renewing a process, yes. Am I going to be intentional about cracking my systems/prisons I put myself in, yes. I owe it to myself and those connected to me to do so. You do too wherever you are in your journey.
