An entire decade. Twelve innocent people were killed and 70 were injured, some can no longer walk. I know how it feels to mark such a painful milestone, and my heart is with the families who will never be the same. Today, we remember: Veronica Moser-Sullivan, 6 Rebecca Wingo, 32 Micayla Medek, 23 Matthew McQuinn, 27 Jonathan Blunk, 26 John Larimer, 27 Jessica Ghawi, 24 Jesse Childress, 29 Gordon Cowden, 51 Alexander Teves, 24 Alex Sullivan, 27 AJ Boik, 18 I am constantly inspired by the perseverance of survivors in the wake of violence, and the Aurora community epitomizes this courage. Here we are 10 years after this tragedy, and we have made tremendous progress across the state.
