This skincare @meder_beauty is my holy grail of beauty products. This image is unfiltered and un-retouched. I realize that the science really does matter, not just the marketing, especially when it comes to skincare. When I use aggressive products (retinoids, acids, peels) they do the job for hyperpigmentation, but I pay the price with red and irritated skin. Enter @meder_beauty and their AMAZING Salva Derm prebitotic cream for normal to sensitive skin. I’ve been using it for almost 6 weeks now, and two weeks ago I had a 20% TCA peel and used the Salva Derm cream immediately after and during the entire peeling process and ever since. I normally look horrible for the first 8 days after a peel, but not with this. My skin peeled of course, that was the whole idea, but the whole red and irritated part was pretty much eliminated. When my skin was getting a tiny bit tingly or red, I just put on another layer and it calmed down within minutes. Mind you, this is not a specific post-peel cream, and I use it as my every day skincare, but I was just amazed at how well it worked and keeping my skin calm. I’m going to use additional products from the line, but so far the Salva Derm is my favorite. They recommend using their VitaLongOil to keep the pigmentation from coming back, which I just started using.
