Gratitude. My word for 2024. I didn’t know what I would face or the weight I would carry, but God gave me this word, and I did my best to walk through the year with it. Throughout this year I learned that biblical gratitude means looking beyond our circumstances and recognizing the goodness God places within them. This year has been one of the most challenging, heartbreaking, joyful, and God-centered years of my life. Through it all, God made a way for me to lay my burdens at His feet—and leave them there. He never left my side, and my faith in Him never wavered, even on the hardest of days. Friend, if you’re struggling, know this: He won’t leave you. He’s always there, ready to carry you through even the toughest times. So, with the utmost gratitude, I say: Jesus, thank You for the trials of 2024. They have shaped me into the person I’m becoming, and for that, I am forever thankful. So, here I am through various days of this year....some really hard, and some that were good for the soul. But, no matter what, I found His goodness in each day. Here’s to a year of growth, xoxo.
