👼🏽 👼🏽 👼🏽 Our three little babies in heaven. 🙏🏽The first 👧🏻, Brighton knew all about... we had baby clothes & pictures & heartbeats on video. The 2nd 👦🏽 & third 👦🏽 we didn’t disclose to her .. But she knew about them anyway... Because you know... kids are smarter than us. 😇 🕯 National pregnancy + infant loss awareness day 🕯 ✝️I’m thinking today as well about the 2 beautiful embryos we made who did not have the correct genetic make up for a healthy, viable IVF transfer. 💔B used to beg for a sibling but now (unprompted) she’s started to say, mommy, it’s OK, we don’t need one. I’m ok 🥹 👯‍♀️ I know I am not alone because I have the benefit of this platform and connecting with so many of you. But the important thing is that YOU also know you are not alone. 🤍Further, just because it’s happened to other people, doesn’t make YOUR pain less significant. We are not in the business of one upping each other up with grief. We have to be in the business of acknowledgment, support and pathways to individual healing. 🤍Just know that if you’ve been through this kind of loss, I see you and recognize you and honor your process. 🤍None of us can truly know how each other feels... Because each time it happens, it unfolds so differently for each family.
