The Collegiate Ramble. Part I Adventure is a word that has been way overused and plagiarized in today's world. I recently listened to a podcast with one of my favorite photographers, @danmilnerphoto, and he expressed exactly what I feel about it, "people go out on the streets looking for a burrito and they call that adventure". The word has lost it's real meaning. I created this route without knowing much of what to expect since I had never ridden around the Collegiate Peaks before. I didn't know if the route was bikeable, I didn't know if water was available, I didn't know if roads where private.
