This story is about a police officer who name was Houston Tipping. He was not just a regular cop, and he didn’t die a regular death. We always hear about bad cops and the horrible things they do.
It’s a reality everywhere.
Regardless of an individual’s politics police brutality isn’t a figment of your imagination. It’s not created by woke leftist professors and it’s existence doesn’t rely on the acknowledge of right wing hacks who think anything left of hunting the homeless for sport is communism. Everywhere around the globe in every country police abuse the power they’re given.
Being as technologically advanced as we and many other nations are the prisons and jails are dungeons. The tactics used on human beings are barbaric. This is true for the USA as it also is in Mexico, Iran, Colombia, Burma, Israel, Russia, Canada etc...
When harsh realities like this are pointed out the people who could walk into a sneaker store and find a boot to lick come to defend police abusing their authority.
They always paint a picture of bad apples instead of systematic issues. But this begs question. What about the good cops? Do they exist? There must be a civil servant worthy of their title. There has to be one.
Meet LAPD Officer Houston Tipping. At the time of his death he was doing his job, which was investigating multiple other officers accused of a gang rape.
His life was threatened and he still kept up the job. Many other cops always say that they shouldn’t be judged by the actions of other officers. Yet they look the other way when crimes are committed so their words are empty. But Officer Tipping held to his word and kept up the investigation.
He was doing a bicycle training. Then at some point the training according to the LAPD’s owns investigation turned into a “mob attack simulation exercise” which makes no sense. During this “grappling exercise” Officer Tipping had his spine broken, his neck was snapped in multiple places. The LAPD declared the death a accident and the family of Officer Tipping filed a wrongful death lawsuit.
Remember his name, and that cowards and evil men were the only beneficiaries of his death.
RIP Officer Houston Tipping.
