Today was extremely special! I was thrilled beyond belief that I got to visit the mansion that the greatest movie of all time and my all-time-favorite, the Godfather, was shot in! Castello degli Schiavi. I had goosebumps I was so excited and had a fun time reenacting some of the scenes from the movie. Cookie and I want to send a huge thank you to the owner Baron Franco Platania! He doesn’t allow tours of the property anymore, so it was special that he allowed Cookie and I to come and see all of the beautiful artwork, artifacts, and antiques! It’s more than just a set for the Godfather, there is some beautiful artwork and paintings inside that date back to the 1800s! It was an amazing day and an experience of a lifetime!
