How to propagate Fiddle leaf Fig (Ficus lyrata) NOTE: Before you decide to propagate, make sure your plant is healthy. It’s best to propagate during spring but I’m doing it now because my Fiddle is growing heavily to the left, and I live in CA so Fall/winter weather is not too dramatic. Instructions: 1.) Disinfect shears before using 2.) The cutting should be made in between the nodes. Select cutting point that has at least 3 leaves on stem 3.) After cutting, remove a couple lower leaves and place stem in a container of water 4.) Place cutting where it can get access to bright indirect light 5.)
