4 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ZANZIBAR: omg Zanzibar you have my heart 🥹🇹🇿 it was such a shock to tell people I was traveling to Zanzibar & people would ask “where is that?!” — AHT AHT let me put yall on 1. It’s my mission to see more of Africa & thee gorgeous Zanzibar is actually one of two main islands of the coast of Tanzania, East Africa 🇹🇿. I’m surprised more people aren’t already hip to it 2. I love learning about culture in other parts of the world & the culture of Zanzibar is so UNIQUE! So many people from around the world stay there & it’s a melting pot of different cultures (African, Arab, Indian & European influences) 3. The Maasai People (my guysss in this picture ❤️) are an ethnic group that live in both Kenya & Northern Tanzania 4. Zanzibar is a predominantly muslim island & by predominantly i mean like ~95%. So they are incredibly & traditionally conservative about clothing away from the beach. I felt comfortable wearing this outfit because I knew I would just be on the beach this day eating at the popular The Rock restaurant behind us & then go back to my resort.
