there are so many things i do that bring me joy but taking photos of people is probably #1 on that list i’ve always considered photography a hobby of mine and never felt confident in my work to try to pursue it as something more. even though i’ve been taking film photos of my friends since i was 15, i felt like i was winging it every roll but after putting together these collages of my favorite shots from the past couple years, i feel extremely proud of the outcome and can’t keep considering it luck that they came out at all. i feel like the time has come for me to take the next step forward and put myself out there my favorite question to ask my friends when talking about portraits is “whats a photo of yourself you’ve always wanted taken?” for shane it was with his horse Yde during sunset. for amy, hannah and katie it was at the farm in their nighties. if you are in or around LA and want medium format film portraits, feel free to message me and lets plan something! i’m open to any and all ideas <3
