✨HIDDEN GEM FROM A LEGENDARY CHEF AT THE HAMMER MUSEUM IN LA✨
The Hammer in Westwood is one of my favorite museums in Los Angeles thanks to its outdoor layout, manageable size, and ever-changing exhibits, and I stop by this restaurant every time I’m there.
Lulu is the rare museum restaurant with food that’s actually worth the money, and it comes from legendary chef Alice Waters (credited with pioneering the farm-to-table movement at her restaurant Chez Panisse) and acclaimed chef and cookbook author David Tanis.
Though they’re also open for afternoon apéritifs and dinner, I like them best for lunch; and I’ll almost always get their three course prix fixe market menu (though there’s also an a la carte menu if you’d prefer).
Their offerings change every day, so you know the food is fresh, and you’ll never have the same thing twice. It’s filling, but not heavy — the perfect lunch after a morning of museum walking.
Send this to someone you wanna go with, and follow me for more LA restaurant reviews, recommendations, and things to do!
