last night i got to honor one of the best voices and songwriters of our time— @kirkfranklin. i held back tears singing words i feel are so important right now. ‘lean on me’ is about showing love & support to those around you in their time of need. we all need each other so deeply…it’s the social contract of life & the way i think God intended it. getting to sing with @pjmorton @musiqcity & @davidandtamela was the icing. thanks to the @grammys @blackmusiccollective & @adamblackstone for having me. and thank you for the many years of incredible music, Kirk 🫶🏾🌻
