I had the best time learning about the wild plants in Jackson Hole, WY and how their ability to thrive in high altitude/harsh conditions has given them immense antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and UV protective benefits, mechanisms to protect themselves from damage. We see this with plants found in deserts or deep oceans — like aloe vera, calendula, and algae. This tree is called the Aspen Tree aka American Aspen.
