I strongly encourage all of you celebrating this weekend to adjust your plans. NOW MORE THAN EVER is the time to remember that the first pride was a riot. We’ve been “voting” for the past 6 years, and even though CONSERVATIVES HAVE LOST 7 OUT OF 8 POPULAR ELECTIONS they are still wreaking havoc on our lives and well beings. Fuck voting. I’ve been shown that every election I’ve used my voice in during my adult life doesn’t matter. They’re gonna be circling the block for us next. (Of course still exercise your constitutional right to vote but exercise your other ones a bit more.)
