FEB 2020 ... Murmurs of a new virus that was starting to spread as we prepped for @do_over Hawaii. On the flight over, the passenger next to me was head to toe in PPE, getting up every 30 minutes to sanitize everything around him as conflicting thoughts ran thru my head. When we landed in Honolulu, Hawaii had just reported it’s first death & a feeling of anxiety was settling in on the island. @andrepower crashed his new drone into his hotel window... the indestructible @haycoxxx was taken down by a mysterious bug that in retrospect was probably covid... local hero @djdelve outshined us all & @fourcolorzack played some shaka skanking ska 🕴🏄‍♂️🍹 Needless to say, we are excited to return to Hawaii on Feb 20th. It’s become a special place for us over the years filled w/ some incredible memories, family & friends. A place where even us haoles feel at home 🤙🏼 And it was important to return to @encoresaloon & help support them after these past few years of uncertainty on their biz.
