During one of my usual late night social media scrolls, I came across a meme that gave me pause. ‘There are seven days in a week and “one day” isn’t one of them,' it read. The words, in galling loopy font, seemed irritatingly judgemental. But it also made me think: How do we decide what to do with the time we’re given? For the February issue of @elleuk , we turned to a range of authors, actors, designers and artists whose work inspires us to reimagine our future, including #BarbaraKruger, @nikolehannahjones , @miss_zing , @bernardineevaristo, @sadiesink_ , @harris_reed @thestack.world #sharmadeanreid and more.
