My upcycled copper sink has been a bit controversial as I had lots of people questioning if it will last. We are only a month in so it’s too soon to tell, but so far there are no signs of wear and tear. I did a fair bit of research & these are the steps I took ... 🌟 PREP - this is key! Sand the sink and give it a good clean to remove any dust. Tape up any exposed areas 🌟PRIME - I used Self Etch primer , as recommended by @thisenglishhome make sure to follow the instructions and leave for 24 hours to cure and create a firm foundation. Spray in small light strokes 🌟PAINT - I used @rustoleum all surface spray paint and couldn’t be happier with the finish. The key, as with the primer, is light small strokes. It’s better to layer up then get blobs! I’m over the moon with the results. And in the words of the gorgeous and wise Sophia @thiscolourfulnest ‘stainless steel is so 2021’ 💜 * PR products previously declared as part of an @ebay_uk campaign #colourfulhomevibe #mycuratedvibe #brightboldhome #scrollstoppinghome #interioreccentric #crashbangcolour #interiorsthatcrush #maximalistinterior #stopandstaredecor #maximalisthome #myspaceanddecor #crazyplantlady #upcycledfurniture #furnitureflip #furnituremakeover #homedecoronabudget #flippedfurniture #updatedfurniture #beforeandafterfurnituremakeovers #beforeandafterfurniture #upcycle #diyhome #kitchenmakeover #diy #diylove #diyreel #girlswhodiy #colourfulhomestyle #ecclecticdecor #flipfamily
