The “Perfect” occasion to be photographed by @bailey_studio again after so many years. Still the sharpest, most direct and no-nonsense photographer I have ever met or worked with. Not a lot and everything has changed since I first met Bailey in his studio. He was sitting behind the desk when I arrived to be photographed for a profile about me for Vogue in 1986. He looked up over his glasses as I came in through the door and asked gruffly, “Who are you?” And I thought, “This is going to be a long couple of days.” But, to my delight and relief, we were friends by the end of the day and worked together quite a lot for the next few years. It was a special bonus to see Catherine, Fenton and Paloma again too!
