Alt Text: Joey Dardano, a so called “comedian”, has another one of his signature public meltdowns disguised as stand-up comedy upon his arrival to the stage at the live comedy show Better Half in the backyard of the wine bar Bar Bandini in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. Without a good opener to get the audience on his side, Joey’s tactic is to scream and yell as much as he can on top to gauge how much patience the audience has. After a little while, he slowly veers into his “material*” (half-baked thoughts that, when expressed, kill a bit of time before he gets the light and is given the go-ahead to finally get off stage and leave these fine, hard working, tax-paying people alone) Listen, when Joey’s up there doing “his thing”, it’s about survival. He put himself in that position, he dug himself that hole, now all he’s gotta do is weasel his out. And he plans to do so using two things: Volume and charisma.
